Happy 4th of July
One of the joys of being a first time mom is experiencing every holiday in a new light. Before holidays were just another day. Now, they must have the perfect outfit. We started our journey yesterday after a sleepless night. 8:30am it was time to go to swim lessons. We all put on our matching Old Navy 4th of July t-shirts and headed out, after several photos of course. Brock was dressed from head to toe, including his American Flag swim suit. After lessons and a short nap we were headed to Nana and Grandaddy's with out matching shirts. Upon arrival we had family photos made. Then it was time to go swim. Brock changed back into his American Flag suit and of course his cousin had a matching one, more pics of course. When we got out, the boys changed into their matching knit shorts and red tanktops. After a short nap we returned home, and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Now it was time for the final outfit. It was red, white, and blue overalls with a matching hat. It really wore me out with all clothing changes, but I didn't want the day to go by without him wearing every piece of cute patriotic clothing he owned. Maybe I am a little crazy, but he just looks so cute! Maybe next year we can settle on one or two outfits for the day!

So where are all these pictures of B in all his patriotic glory?
I'm a bad mom. Neither of my kids had one bit of patriotic clothing. C did the first year but I really slacked off this year.
I would have to agree with meg... where are the pictures?
I am definately disappointed that we did not light any turds this year. Anyway, I might see you tonight. I will leave something more when I am in a more creative mood, but in the meantime I will eagerly await your next post.
