What a day!
Today was back to normal with Daddy back at work, which meant a hard day for mom. Brock started off by waking at 5:30am because Daddy let his alarm go off too long. He spent a majority of his day in time out in the pack and play. He is hitting his mommy, and mommy is getting very frustrated with the hitting. Today I was putting his shoes on so we could go to the mall for a change of scenery, and he was sitting in my lap and he turned around and hit me and then pointed to the pack and play (time out area) and walked right to the pack and play. This evening while I was at work Nate said he kept putting all his toys in the pack and play. I guess he is just stocking up for tomorrow. I really wonder if he knew what he was doing by putting toys in there thinking he would have them next time he was sent to time out. I assure you there will be no toys in there when he wakes up! Anyone have any suggestions for the hitting? I do not believe in hitting him back. On a bright note-Brock and I are getting really excited about going to California on Thursday to visit Aunt Cephy(Steph), KK(Caleb), and Siah (Josiah).

Where are you working?
I am unsure about the hitting thing. Brynn has started the biting thing. She bit my cheek yesterday. She has only hit me a few times and I would grab her hand and hold it down while I told her no. She would try to wiggle her hand away from me, but I would just hold on. This would really tick her off. Sorry-I am new at this too.
I don't know what to tell you about the hitting thing. As far as time out goes, maybe you should start putting him in his crib instead of the playpen. If there is nothing in his room to entertain him, maybe he will stop hitting mommy because he doesn't want to be in there.
About the hitting - Chase is a hitter (and a biter and a spitter) and he is getting better - we time out and naughty room him all the time. It is all we can do. Oh - and we spank him - but we try not to after he hits us or someone else - we try to save that for other things!
