A Great Weekend

Friday night, Brock and I went to Nate's first game as a coach at Sam Houston High School. The team went 0-10 last year and they won Friday in over time. Brock was so excited about the victory that he stayed up until 1:30am. Brock and I spent the night with my parents since Nate would be late. It was so great to sleep in until 9:30am since Nana and Grandaddy got up with him. I don't remember the last time I slept in until 9:30 and had donuts waiting for me! Saturday afternoon, Brock and I let Daddy take a nap and we went shopping. First we went to Home Depot to look for paint to paint the walls in Brock's new room. Next we went to Target and bought this cool train track. I had a gift card that I had won at work, so I thought Brock would enjoy this new toy. He loves it. That night we went to a coaches house for dinner while Brock went back to visit my parents. It was nice to meet some of the other coaches wives. Brock was soundly sleeping when we arrived to pick him up. Today we went to church and had lunch with Nate's family. Brock had fun as usual. We ALL took long afernoon naps. Then we went back to Home Depot and bought some paint and back to target and bought some shelves I have wanted for Brock's room for a long time. We cleaned everything out of Brock's new room tonight and are getting ready to paint the furniture. We started painting the walls, but ran out of paint tonight. We will finish at nap time tomorrow.
