Daddy of the Day

Brock has "green pillow". He loves green pillow. He sleeps with green pillow, he loves green pillow, he carries green pillow everywhere, he is possessive of green pillow. Green pillow can make a bad mood better. When we took the paci away last summer, he started his love for green pillow. So green pillow is filthy. I had to wash him. It was covered with all kinds of nastiness. So I went to get it out of the wash and it had a hole in it and the insides were all over my clothes in the wash. Let me also tell you that Brock cried for 30 minutes this morning when green pillow had to take a "bath".
So I called Nate in a panic. I am watching two other kids today, so there was no way I could go on a search for green pillow and no way I could have him miss his nap. So Nate being the wonderful Dad that he is went on his conference period on search for a green pillow. He went to target, Bed Bath and Beyond and Linens and Things. Unfortunately he found no green pillows. He did find a cars pillow that is a square (like green pillow) and has the same insides, but the outside material is a bit different and he bought two sports pillows form target, but they are stuffed so full that they are not soft. We met Nate at his school before nap time for him to give Brock his surprise. Brock said "O, thanks Dad I love it!". So I was hoping all would go well at nap. Well after 2 hours of screaming for green pillow he is finally resting with his cars pillow. I am tired!
