Getting ready to go home. He was very excited
He got to ride in the wagon when they took us to the car. He loved it. They first thing we do every morning is get our apple juice and breakfast. So my parents and my sister kept Braxton for us last night. We set out alarm for 3:30am and went to IHOP ( I did not want Brock to be hungry and miserable all day long). We went to the IHOP closet to our home and it was closed for fire alarm inspection! She off we went to IHOP #2. We all enjoyed breakfast and looked like parents of the year for taking our 3 year old to IHOP at 4am. We did talk very loud about going to the hospital so maybe the two other people that were there would not think we were crazy.
We all went back to bed when we got home and slept until about 7:30. We played and then headed out to the hospital. Brock was SO calm all day. It was amazing. He sat nicely in Nate's lap and watched TV and played in the playroom while we were waiting to go back. He only cried one time and it was when he said good bye to Daddy, Nana and Grandma and I took him to the "induction room" to get his happy juice. He realized he had forgotten his seal and started crying "I just want to go to my house". It broke my heart. The veyr sweet nurse went and got seal from Daddy. Then he got his "happy juice" and relaxed and was finished in no time!

Ahhh, poor little Brock, hopefully this will make him feel better! At least he got the cool rainbow popsicle to make things better! Hope you and Nate are doing well too with all of this, it can be exhausting and scary for everyone involved!
I'm so glad that it went well! Brock is such a little trooper. Now hopefully it will help his breathing issues.
Hey! I am so glad things went well. On a side note...Thomas has the same football outfit/pj's. He even wore them today! Great minds must think alike!
Whew! I'm so glad it's over! He looks great in his "going home" pictures!
Those pictures of him trying to wake up and eat his popsicle are so precious!! I am glad he is doing better. Call you when I get back. Love.
So glad that it all went well!!! We will pray for a quick and easy recovery and for some rest for all of you!
