Happy Birthday Brock

It is hard to believe my first born is already 5 years old! Where has the time gone. I am surprised each year how emotional I feel on both boys birthdays. It seems the time passes so quickly and they are growing up so fast.

Brock had a super birthday (even though my post is over a month late). He went to school on his birthday and picked out some yummy cupcakes to take. He picked Mexican food for dinner because he loves flour tortillas. He was feeling a little under the weather with his asthma that week and had lots of trouble with his coughing. We arrived at the restaurant and Brock promptly ate 4 flour tortillas and a whole glass of lemon aide. Then before our food came he started coughing and began throwing up! It was on me and him and the table. Luckily most of it landed in napkins and the toilet! We were able to quickly eat our dinner and then go home! We were going to have ice cream with Grandma and Grandpa but Brock felt so yucky he wanted to pass on ice cream and go to bed.

Mommy and Daddy cannot believe that you are already 5 years old. You have grown so much and so fast. We love you so much and we thank God everyday that He chose us to be your mommy and daddy. We love so many things about you. You make us smile and laugh all the time. You have such a sweet spirit. Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!

You sleep in the dinosaur room with Brax but you usually end up asleep on mommy and daddy's floor

You love to watch movies

You still love green pillow and let your "guys" take turns sleeping with you at night

You always have to have water and ice before you go to bed

You love to snuggle with mommy and daddy

You have a contagious laugh

You love to play with your cousins and your cousin Caleb makes you laugh so hard

You are a picky eater - you eat pizza and chicken nuggets and not much else

You still have pretty bad asthma although it is under control more

You get allergy shots every week and you take them like a pro

You love to go to church and to life group

You love ice cream!

You always ask when you can have a dog and we always reply "when you are 20" because of your allergies.

You love to do arts and crafts

You love your babysitter Miss Laura

You love baby Ava SO much
