Oregon

At the end of June the whole Van Cleave Family headed to Oregon to see Nate's Grandparents and the other family that lives there. The boys were so excited to be going to a real farm. We had such a wonderful time on our trip. The weather was perfect, the company was great, and the boys were living a dream surrounded by cows, creeks, 4 wheelers and much more. I am so happy that the entire family got to go. We made so many memories on our trip that will last us a lifetime. Megan, Grandma and the boys at the Portland Zoo. We met my sweet friend
from high school Adrienne, there and enjoyed spending the day with her and her sweet kiddos.

Braxton spent lots of time playing basketball.

There were so many great places to pose for pictures when we went to the family reunion.

The boys posing at the family reunuion. Brock found a little trail that led up to these flowers. He was very proud and spent much of his time leading family members on his trail.
We had the privilege of going to Grandpa's family reunion.

Brock loved hunting for crawdads.
The boys and Daddy in the very cold river.

I got brave and caught a crawdad. I thought it was very gross, but I wanted to impress my little guys!

Braxton catching his crawdad . At this point he thought it was cool. Shortly after Daddy caught another one and let Braxton hold it and it pinched his finger and when we pulled it off it cut his finger. It was very traumatic for him!

Brock loved the goats on the neighbors property. He would walk down and talk with the goats and feed them hay. Ithink he would have stayed there all day talking to and feeding the goats. He left Oregon wanting a pet goat.
We last went to Oregon when Brock was 20 months old. When we told Brock we were going to Oregon, he immediately asked about the bear rug. A big thanks to Uncle Terry for getting the bear rug out for the boys. They thought is was really cool.

We enjoyed spending time with some of Nate's cousins. They were so kind to let us invade their home and were very kind to the boys.
Brock was determined to see Elk while in Oregon. We finally found one.
Grandpa Great and the boys. I love this picture
