Harley was our first baby. I told Nate I was ready to have a baby or to get a puppy so he quickly decided we could have a puppy in May of 2003. We got Harley when he only weighed 1.5 lbs. I was so scared I was going to step in him and kill him. When we got him he was not ready to be weaned from his mother- but we did not know that. We had a bottle feed him for several days. So Harley would go to my school with me and stay under my desk and I would feed him. Before Brock Harley would go every where with us. Anytime we went to our parents house Harley was with us. Any where we could take him he went. Of course that has all changed since we have had Brock. Harley loves to sleep in our bed on our pillows with us. We always wonfered how he would do when Brock go here. Brock and Harley are Best Friends! Brock loves him more than life itself. Brock can pull on him and hit him and he just takes it. Brock's third word was "dog" and now his favortie word to yell is "Harley"! Harley drags Brock around as Brock holds on for dear life to Harley's toys. Brock can often be found looking out the doggy door screaming Harley or following him out he goddy door. I haven't been able to capture a picture of that one yet. Now Harley weighs all of 5.5 lbs, but is learning that he is a dog not our baby.

OHHHH! I remember Harley when he was that small! I remember you came to visit me and we went to Wal Mart to find a Mary Kate and Ashley crimper and we went home and played with tiny Har pup.
My big boy looked so cute in that picture. Both he and Harley have grown up a lot.
Harls is a pretty darn cute dog. I remember teaching his to use his doggy door. He was so scared of that thing. I am just glad that he is not as high maintenance as he was when you first got him with all of his medical drama.

Awww! We have a little yorkie too...along with a 100 lb. black lab! I'm wondering how ours will handle our new little one. I hope he adjusts as well as Harley!
