Last Wednesday, I took Braxton for his checkup with his orthopedic surgeon (he sees him for his club foot). We have been concerned about him not walking yet( he would take one or two steps), and the doctor was concerned as well. Braxton has been "cruising" for sometime, but not walking independently and he was not feeling well at the appointment so he would not even stand up. The doctor looked at his foot and thought all of it looked well, but concerned about him not walking yet. He told me that if Braxton was not walking by 18 months that he needed to go to a neurologist because the problem causing him not to walk other than his foot. Of course, the wheels started spinning in my head and I am a little freaked out. I was wondering if he was seeing something I wasn't?
Yesterday, Braxton decided it was time to walk!!! What an answer to our prayers! Braxton, Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!
